NICARAGUA: Record exports in 2010
The export promotion agency, Centro de Trámite de las Exportaciones
(Cetrex), claims that the country recorded record export receipts of US$1.92bn
in 2010. Even so, the country is still the smallest exporter in Central America,
apart from Belize. Even Honduras, whose exports have been falling in recent
years, still exported US$2.4bn in 2010.
